The Zimbabwe Society of Otorhinolaryngologists (ZISOL) is the officially recognized professional body representing ear, nose, and throat surgeons in Zimbabwe. Founded in 1998, we have grown to include over 50 specialists working in public hospitals, private practice, and academic institutions.

ZISOL was established by a group of pioneering ENT surgeons who recognized the need for a unified body to advance the specialty. Over the past two decades, we have played a key role in establishing ENT training programs at the University of Zimbabwe, advocating for hearing health policies, and organizing the first national temporal bone dissection course
